Country Club Tennis - Pro's Corner

Every day is a great day to play on the clay(Har-Tru) here at Glenview and Lopez tennis clubs. The Glenview Champions tennis club and Lopez Legacy tennis club is open to not just village residents but to all interested tennis players. As the head pro and tennis facilities manager, I encourage you to call or email me with and questions you might have regarding tennis. The six beautiful courts we have at Glenview Champions, as well as the four additional courts at Lopez Legacy, are some of the best har-tru courts in north central Florida, featuring the hydro grid underground watering system. These courts are well maintain and will be softer to play on for your body, as well as cooler in the summer more than traditional hard courts.

The Villages only tennis pro shop at Glenview Champions carries Men’s apparel featuring Fila, and women’s apparel featuring Lucky in Love, Tail, and SofiBella. We carry Wilson, Head, and Pro Kennex tennis racquets and pickle ball paddles. We also carry all court shoes featuring KSwiss, Wilson, Head, and New Balance. These shoes would be great for not only tennis, but can be used for pickle ball, racquet ball, and platform tennis. Our shop is a full service shop with stringing and regripping services available. Our extensive 24 clinic listing offers sessions from beginners to more advanced tennis players. Our clinics are 1 hour sessions each, with a maximum of six people, for $15. You are encouraged to call to reserve your spot. Payment is due on the day of the clinic when you pay the pro directly. I addition, we offer private, semi private, as well as group lessons from youth to returning players to more advanced players.
