In January 2001 Jeff and his wife Shirley moved to The Villages from Connecticut, they reside in The Village of Santiago. They have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren all of whom live in Connecticut.

After winning the 2006 Tierra Club Championship Jeff successfully defended his title in 2007, winning a 3 man play off on the first hole. Over the past 50 years Jeff has won 11 different club championships at 6 different clubs, and he has also made 7 hole-in-ones! He has also shot his age at least 20 times and at 74 plans to do that many more times!
