BRIARWOOD
Built on the rolling pastures of Marion county, this course is a treat with big oaks and scenic vistas. Plenty of healthy carries present a serious challenge to the novice golfer. Most holes, from the back tee placement, require a wood or long iron. Large, sloping greens make putting a premium.
Driving Directions
From Spanish Springs: - Go north on Paige Place and go thru the traffic circle to El Camino Real. Follow this road to Buena Vista Blvd. Go North on Buena Vista Blvd. until you see The Nancy Lopez Legacy CC entrance on your right. The Briarwood / Walnut Grove starter shack is just south of the Lopez Legacy Golf Shop. Automobiles should park in the Lopez Legacy CC lot. From Lake Sumter Landing: Take Old Mill Road west to Buena Vista Blvd. Go North on Buena Vista Blvd. (about 5 miles) until you see The Nancy Lopez Legacy CC entrance on your right.
