Palmer Legends has completed its renovation of all three nines – Riley Grove (summer of 2022), Laurel Valley (summer of 2023) and Cherry Hill (summer of 2024).  The renovations included rebuilding the greens (drainage and greens mix) to include re-grassing with Tifeagle Bermuda, re-grassing the fairways with Celebration Bermuda through a no till process, and lastly replacing the sand in the bunkers with G-Angel.  We are excited to have completed this project and to have you enjoy the results of our hard work.

Practice Facility

The practice facility will be MATS Only on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Exceptions – weather conditions, maintenance and demo days.

The practice facility closes at 4 pm on Saturdays, reopening on Sunday mornings after maintenance has been completed, typically 8 am.

To MAXMIZE the use of the grass on the practice tee.  Please place your ball at the grassy back edge of your previous divot, removing just a small portion of grass with each swing.

Please keep in mind, all baskets and practice balls are the property of the club.

Aerification

We are scheduled for two aerifications this year, June 24th and August 28th.  There will be one nine closed the day prior and we will rotate a nine being closed the 6 days after.

During these closures, we will aerify greens, tees, and fairways.  After aerification you can expect the greens to be sandy for about 7 to 10 days.  On the tees and fairways, you will notice the core we removed from the area.  Please feel free to give us a call in the golf shop if you have any questions.  Our number is (352) 753-5300.
