Greetings from; The Nancy Lopez Legacy Country Club

Welcome to summer in The Villages which means its tournament time.  There are both competitive and fund raising tournaments scheduled at our country clubs throughout the summer months.  Check out the “events schedule” on Golfthevillages.com or look for events posted on our information board located in the back hallway or our golf shop. 

At Lopez we hold Men’s Day every Tuesday morning.  Ladies Day is Wednesdays on a rotating schedule among the 5 country clubs north of 466   If you have a neighborhood group or social club looking for some summer activities, give us a call and we’ll help you arrange an outing. 

Both the Men’s and the Ladies “Summer Series” have become very popular over the last few years.  These are 2-person events and for each “Series” there is a monthly event held at different country clubs giving players the opportunity to earn points leading toward a possible series championship.  The “Ladies Summer Series” will play at:

            Cane Garden             June 13th                   Scramble
            Glenview                   July 11th                     1 Odd 2 Even
            Mallory Hill                 August 15th                Best Ball
            Lopez Legacy            Sept 19th & 20th        4-Formats

Grab a schedule and play in as many events as possible.  But remember, it’s SUMMER; stay hydrated and wear protective clothing.
