Born in London, Kentucky, I have lived in Sumter County since the age of 2. I attended Florida State University where I graduated with a degree in Business and a major in Professional Golf Course Management. I have been a PGA member since 2004.

Logan Rosa Assistant Golf Professional

Hometown: Lancaster, PA

I moved to the Central Florida two years ago with my girlfriend Kaelyn and our miniature dachshund Newton. I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and attended The Pennsylvania State University where I graduated in 2020 with a degree in Professional Golf Management as well as my PGA of America membership. I have had the pleasure of working at a handful of wonderful courses throughout my career. Starting with Lancaster Country Club, The Vineyard Club on Martha’s Vineyard, Philadelphia Cricket Club, Woodland Country Club of Carmel, The Country Club of Orlando, and Trump National Jupiter. I grew up fishing and golfing in the summers and snowboarding in the winter with my four younger brothers.

Carol Durkin Golf Staff Lead

Hometown:Nyack, New York

Moving here to The Villages in 2009, I am originally from Nyack, NY where I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 39 years. I started with the Golf and Country Club Division in 2011 and have been on the Bonifay staff since it opened in the fall of 2011. I love to play golf, going to Disneyworld and enjoying the whole Villages lifestyle.

David Carbery Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: New York

In December of 2011 I retired from the NYS Department of Corrections. After 31 years as a Vocational Instructor and a computer tech. I opted for a new adventure. My wife, Debbie, and I decided it was time to move to warmer weather and we found the Villages. It wasn’t long before I knew that full retirement wasn’t for me so I applied for a position in golf. I was lucky enough to be hired by Evans Prairie and was part of the team that open the new Evans Prairie Course in August of 2022. In the summer of 2023, I applied for the position of Outside Staff Supervisor at Cane Garden. I got the position and stayed at Cane until the summer of 2022. At this point I applied for and got the position of Office Assistant for Golf Administration. The position allowed me to learn much more about the golf operations in the Villages and I was honored to work with a team of hard working and great people. But I found that I missed the day to day work of helping to run a golf course. So on January 1, 2023 I was able to return to my roots as Golf Staff Supervisor where it all began, Evans Prairie.  After spending a year and a half at Evans I was excited to make the move over to Bonifay in June of 2024. 

Kal Kalieta Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: Buffalo, New York

Kal and his bride Katie are originally from Buffalo, NY. Kal's career had been in Information Technology, overseeing data processing for major Northeast banks. After moving to Florida, he designed and managed communications network for a startup credit card processor for 10 years. For the past 14 years, Kal & Katie owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast in St. Augustine, FL. Kal & Katie live happily in The Villages of St. Charles with their feline children.

Bob Wargo Golf Staff Lead

Hometown: Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania

My wife an dI moved to The Villages in 2013 after workin gin the mining and construction industries for over 40 years.  We have two sons and one grandaughter. I have worked for the golf divission for 5 years as an Ambassador and have also represented Bonifay on the safety committee. I enjoy playing golf and am and avid fan of auto racing.  I look forward to helping everyone
make their time at Bonifay a wonderful experience.
