Havana - Staff

Rob Shaffer PGA Professional

I am the PGA Head Golf Professional at Havana Country Club. I started in the golf business in 1999 where I spent 4 amazing years working as an Assistant Golf Professional for Arnold Palmer at his Bay Hill Club and Lodge. I spent 8 years in the panhandle working in the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort at Raven Golf Club and Burnt Pine Golf Club. While there I also worked for the St Joe Company at Camp Creek Golf Club. In addition to those clubs, I also worked at the Hank Johnson School of Golf as a full time instructor/club-fitter. This experience afforded me the opportunity to join the Golf Division here in The Villages as the Director of Instruction from 2011- 2016. I am very appreciative to be back in Florida's Friendliest Hometown here at Havana Country Club.

During my off time I enjoy being with my wife Loretta and our 2 boys Robbie and Camdyn.
