Built in 2003, our Amberwood course epitomizes what pristine central Florida was like 100 years ago. Lined by majestic oaks, Amberwood is a challenge - especially from the back tees. Be prepared to use your long irons or perhaps a wood on some holes to get onto the green in regulation. Number Six is a beautiful par 4 running alongside a scenic wetland nature preserve. Watch out for the bunker on the left side of the fairway and be forewarned that even a good drive will have to be followed by a strong second shot to get on in two. All three final holes on Amberwood require your tee shot to carry over water and hold sloped greens. Accurate putting is key to making par (or better) as you come down the home stretch. Amberwood is a perennial favorite of Villages Residents - and for good reason! Amberwood is currently a par 28 with yardage ranging from 1163 to 1710 yards depending on where you tee it up.
